Dorset – Senior Software Engineer – TestingMy client are leaders in data and are innovators in the test and measurement industry. The company are increasingly growing and are looking for a Senior Software Engineer. Main Duties:
Liaise with customers on projects and software, testing & user interface requirementsTranslate system specification into software module specificationDesign software specificationsAssist and support junior team membersProduce fit for purpose software within time & project constraints, integrating hardware/instrumentation/UUTs with software where requiredWork as part of a project team with engineers from other disciplinesConduct peer assessment of coding, identifying ‘bugs’ or any other problems/concerns Carry out acceptance testing (factory and on-site)Work to company’s Quality procedures Key Skills and Experience:Previous experience within a Senior Software Engineer type roleExperience of software design in the test and measurement industryLabVIEW and TestStand experience Desirable: electronic hardware design experienceIf you feel like you have the right skills and experience, then please apply with a copy of your updated CV and we will be in touch with more details.
