An exciting opportunity for a dynamic and experienced Senior Sous Chef to join this award-winning kitchen team. You'll be working in a state-of-the-art kitchen, under the guidance of a renowned Head Chef. Sous Chef Ideal Candidate Profile:
Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Sous Chef, with a background in fine dining or high-end gastropubs
A passion for culinary arts and a proven track record in creating innovative menus and exceptional food
Strong leadership skills, capable of managing and training a team of junior chefs
Thorough knowledge of current food safety and hygiene regulations
Proactive and entrepreneurial, adept at adapting to market trends and enhancing dining experiences
Sous Chef Key Responsibilities:
Lead the kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef, ensuring culinary excellence
Assist in the development of new, seasonal menus that meet the highest standards of quality and creativity
Train and mentor junior chefs, enhancing their skills and culinary knowledge
Ensure adherence to stringent food safety standards, complete necessary hygiene documentation, and compile environmental health reports as required
Establish and maintain effective collaboration across all team members to ensure seamless service
