Sous Chef Ideal Candidate Profile:
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or a similar role in a busy kitchen environment
Experience in a Rosette-awarded restaurant is highly desirable but not essential
Strong leadership skills, capable of managing and motivating a team
Excellent cooking skills with a passion for creative menu development
Effective time management and organizational skills
Commitment to maintaining high standards in both food quality and kitchen hygiene
Sous Chef Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with the Head Chef to manage daily kitchen operations
Assist in the preparation and presentation of dishes to high standards
Help manage kitchen staff and oversee food preparation, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards
Contribute to menu development with innovative dishes that align with seasonal availability
Manage stock levels and supplier relations to ensure the kitchen operates efficiently
Uphold hygiene and safety protocols in the kitchen
