About the Role:
- Lead occupational therapy services within a multi-disciplinary team using the BIRT Neurobehavioral model.
- Manage a diverse and complex caseload of service users with neurological conditions, utilising your specialist knowledge to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate tailored treatment plans.
- Collaborate closely with service users, families, and other professionals, ensuring a holistic approach to care that covers all aspects of life, from self-maintenance to leisure activities.
- Delegate and oversee tasks to rehabilitation support workers, ensuring effective handover, monitoring, and evaluation of care plans.
- Conduct detailed risk assessments, maintain professional documentation in line with RCOT standards, and contribute to clinical governance and service improvement initiatives.
- Use your leadership skills to guide, mentor, and inspire colleagues, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
About You:
- Qualified Occupational Therapist with a Diploma / BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy and registered with the Health & Care Professions Council.
- Extensive experience and expertise in neurological rehabilitation, with a proven track record of managing complex cases.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to work autonomously while supporting and guiding a team.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to patient-centred care and professional integrity.
- Proactive in professional development and eager to contribute to service enhancements and innovative care approaches.
