Senior Storage Engineer

My client is looking for a Senior Storage Engineer to join their team on an initial 6 month inside ir35 contract role

This will be a remote position

What you'll be doing

• infrastructure checks and responding accordingly.
• Provisioning and allocation.
• and restore tasks
• Upgrades

We need you to have

• A sound understanding of the principles of resilience and operability in an enterprise storage environment.
• Great experience of planning, preparing and delivering objectives.
• A desire and aptitude to continually grow your own knowledge and skills, and help others do the same.
• A broad understanding of surrounding IT infrastructure: hardware, networking, data.
• An aptitude to quickly assimilate and understand complexity under pressure to diagnose and remediate technical issues.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment.

It's a bonus if you have but not essential

• A good working knowledge of the operation of Core Banking platforms.
• Recent experience of wider infrastructure (eg servers, networking).
