The Company:
An established clothing manufacturer who supply to high end Designers are currently looking for a Senior Supervisor and Quality Controller to join their busy team. Hindi speaking would be advantageous
The Role:
* Managing a team of Machinist
* Keeping a very close detailed examination of the Machinist’s quality of work to ensure any problems in the standard of manufacturing are resolved at an early stage.
* Ensuring the manufacturing of all garments from the cutting room to final press and packing for delivery to each customer specification.
* Reporting directly to the Manager regarding any QC issues and resolving them together.
* Ensuring checks are completed.
* Creating reports for each style that is made.
* Sending the quality control reports to the Company Director.
* Visiting the factory to quality check the garments, making sure they are to company standards.
* If there are any issues with the garments, report the issue to the relevant person
* Checking garments shipped from Far East factory.
* Dealing with clients regularly.
* Preparing specifications
* Preparing AQL Reports
* Pressing of garments
* Working closely with the Pattern Cutter assisting with the measuring of customer specs and cutting samples.
Skills Required:
* 2 - 3 years’ experience within similar role.
* IT literate (Word and Excel).
* Able to read/understand technical spec sheets.
* Technical and garment construction knowledge.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Excellent attention to detail
