I am recruiting several CARING and PASSIONATE Support Workers to join a Residential Service for Adults with Learning Disabilities and complex needs. The service is located in the Brecon area and supports adults aged between 18 - 65. The service is looking for candidates with a caring nature and the ability to have fun and engage with the people they support.

• Salary: £28,000 - £29,000 (including sleeps) Plenty of overtime available!
• Hours: Full Time - 40 hours per week 1 sleep per week
• Contract: Permanent
• Shifts: A variety of shifts including optional sleeps and weekends
• Location: Brecon

As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for the following:

• Encouraging independence and supporting individuals to make their own choices.
• Ensuring the safety of the service users.
• Following care plans for each individual.
• Taking service users out into the community.
• Participating in arts, crafts, gardening, and day trips.
• Varying levels of personal care.

Requirements:

• No experience is required.
• Must be resilient.
• Drivers ESSENTIAL due to location
• Candidates must be happy to do personal care
• NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care
