Senior Sustainability Consultant
Location: Manchester, UK
Salary: �45,000 - �55,000 per annum
A leading, sustainable design and engineering consultancy are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sustainability Consultant to join their sustainability team based in Manchester. They work with fantastic clients and have succesfully delivered projects across all sectors such as; Commercial, Education, Healthcare, Leisure, MOD etc. The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in sustainability consulting and conducting BREEAM assessments. It is essential to the role that the candidate has a BREEAM AP/assessor qualification and holds a relevant degree qualification in sustainability, environmental studies, building services or a related field.
As a Senior Sustainability Consultant, your main responsibilities will include:
-Conducting sustainability assessments, identifying risks and opportunities, and providing recommendations to improve the sustainability of building projects
-Providing expert advice to clients across all sectors on sustainability policies, regulations, and best practices
-Developing and implementing sustainability strategies, management plans and action plans for clients
-Supporting the delivery of sustainability certifications such as BREEAM/LEED/WELL
-Conducting life cycle analysis of buildings using One-Click LCA and carbon reports
-Developing sustainability-related reports, presentations and technical documentation
-Helping train and advise junior consultants on sustainability matters
Requirements:
-Minimum of 3 years of experience in sustainability consulting.
-Relevant degree qualification in sustainability, environmental studies, building services or a related field.
-Qualifications in BREEAM, LEED, One-Click LCA etc are desired
-Strong project management skills and ability to lead and manage projects from inception to completion.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team, liasing with members of the engineering, design and digital team.
-Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems.
