Job DescriptionMy client, an award winning, specialist, global firm, are recruiting for a Senior Sustainability Manager on a permanent basis. This role is a fantastic opportunity within a forward-thinking and progressive law firm.The Senior Sustainability Manager will support on developing the firms Sustainability strategies and led on reporting across the ESG and sustainability space.The key duties will include:Working closely with the HR Director, COO and General Council, as well as the wider HR team.Collect and analyse accurate scope 1, 2, and 3 data as per greenhouse gas protocol standards to track emissionsOffer specialised expertise to Office Managers, Real Estate & Design and Global Sourcing teams for implementing environmental best practices, supporting emissions reduction goalsEstablish measurable metrics and benchmarks to monitor and evaluate progress towards environmental sustainability objectivesCollaborate with Operations leadership to expand the firm’s environmental sustainability capabilities, advocating for adoption of sustainability targets and action plansEngage clients and external stakeholders to communicate the firm's commitment to environmental sustainability, fostering partnerships for collective action and awarenessAssist the team in global ESG reporting, including TCFD, CSRD, and other sustainability aspectsEnsure transparent communication via annual reports, including key sustainability metrics like the Environmental Sustainability Report, CDP and Ecovadis submissions, and stay updated with industry trends, as well as regulatory changesThe Senior Sustainability Manager will have previous experience within Sustainability and Environmental work.Will have the key reporting experience required and be able to communicate with senior leaders across the wider firm.
