Senior Systems Engineer

My client is the world's largest privately owned and independent company for the development of powertrain systems, E-mobility applications, and instrumentation and test systems. We are currently looking for an experience Engineer who is able to support and thrive in the area of Systems Engineering.
Your Responsibilities:

• Software and Control Development of various systems and features of the electrified powertrain (energy management, thermal management, torque control etc.)


• Electric and Electronic Architecture development, Integration, Commissioning, Testing and sign-off of electrified system and interactions within the vehicle powertrain


• Developing and Managing requirements for System, Software, or Electronic Hardware applications


• Testing and Validation of developed features and architectures against requirements to ensure successful product delivery

Experience Required:

 

• MSc / MEng or PhD in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent


• Experience of automotive control systems


• A working knowledge of vehicle architectures, communication protocols and components


• Experience with V-cycle automotive development, System Engineering and Quality tools


• Experience with Matlab Simulink, dSpace, Vector or ETAS engineering tools


• Experience leading project delivery activities


• Driving license valid for driving in the UK
