My client

My client is business based in Leicester, they are a tax advisory business who is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Tax Manager to join them on a full-time permanent basis.

The role

This role would be suited to an ACA or CTA qualified individual with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience in a private client or OMB tax advisory team, managing workflow and ensuring deadlines are met. The successful candidate will also be able to build strong relationships, project manage tax advisory work, develop junior staff, provide excellent client service and identify business development opportunities.

Responsibilities

Project manage tax advisory work, ensuring key milestones and deadlines are met.
Provide technical support to junior members of the team, using tax legislation, HMRC guidance and case law, with support from the tax partners.
Managing and communicating with key stakeholders such as accountants, lawyers, financial advisors and other professionals in respect of client matters.
Ensuring that clients are kept up to date on progress of the project.
Performing a technical review of project advisory work, prior to partner sign off.
