Senior Technical Architect (Devices)

NonStop are looking for a Senior Technical Architect (Devices), to work within a Central Government Department. This is an amazing opportunity for someone who wants to enhance their knowledge and skillset, applying them on a daily basis in a developing professional environment.

This is a mid term contract of 6 months +, Hybrid - 2 to 3 days per week based in either Glasgow or London.

This role requires working with a broad spectrum of 'Device' technologies and commodity digital hardware products. Providing technical architecture services into the Architecture team, you will be responsible for the development of technical designs that deliver secure, scalable solutions for the Buyer's IT service.

Experience and knowledge of detailed technical hardware evaluation and physical model selection across a range of common commodity PC, laptop, mobile, printers, monitors and peripherals such as docking stations and USB hubs

Working knowledge and practical delivery experience of using Mobile Device Management (MDM) / Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) platforms

Experience undertaking security assessments of physical hardware, with an understanding of sophisticated threats at the hardware, firmware and OS levels.
