Job Title: Senior Tech Business Analyst

Location: Hybrid - minimal need to come into Civic Centre Walsall (1-2 times/mth)

Rate of Pay: £450 per day Umbrella OR £346.15 per day PAYE

Working Hours: 37 hours Monday to Friday

Type: Temporary role for 3 months

Opus People Solutions are working with Walsall Council to recruit for a Senior Tech Business Analyst.

Main Responsibilities:

• Liaising with System Analysts to get an awareness of existing Council systems - Use the Application Catalogue, to provide insight into known issues, opportunities or roadmap considerations with existing systems.
• System Integration Requirements - Assist with requirements for system integration e.g. investigating and defining data sets and status codes; understanding the business status (business meanings of status codes, for example) of cases in existing applications, understanding case lifecycle; investigating and addressing data quality issues
• Data Dictionary - E.g., Whole Number, Text, etc.), any constraints (e.g., maximum length of text, formatting, max/min values for numbers, etc.).
• Support with System Role Requirements (RBAC)
• Able to map business requirements into technical solutions and work with Business Analysts to ensure that high quality artefacts are produced to allow for the delivery of digitally innovative solutions
• Knowledge and experience of implementing Microsoft D365 CRM solutions specifically Customer Engagement, Power Portal, Power Platform and how best to leverage these capabilities for maximum benefits
• Significant experience of requirements engineering to deliver functional specifications and other business documents in particular for D365 CRM technologies specifically Customer Engagement, Power Portal, Power Platform
• Experience and understanding of the full D365 development lifecycle - evidence of involvement in solution specification, development, testing and deployment
• Experience of using Azure DevOps to create epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria to a 'sprint ready' standard.
• Experience of working in collaboration with business and technical stakeholders and development teams to negotiate, agree and accelerate solution design decisions
