Job Title: Senior Technical Lead - Information Security
Location: Hybrid working with flexibility across key sites in the UK


Our client is in undergoing an exciting transformation, with technology playing a critical role in enhancing services and operations. The organisation is seeking a hands-on Senior Technical Lead with deep expertise in cybersecurity solutions, technical design, and problem-solving. This role involves refining and delivering robust, scalable, and secure systems to meet evolving business and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement end-to-end technical solutions using modern engineering practices, including Test-Driven Development (TDD), DevSecOps, generative AI, and AWS development.
  • Manage the technical requirements and delivery of third-party cybersecurity solutions.
  • Tackle strategic and operational challenges, ensuring smooth functionality across all levels of the technology stack.
  • Oversee the stability, efficiency, and performance of technologies within the feature team's remit.
  • Translate complex technical challenges into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Lead and mentor a delivery team, fostering collaboration and innovation.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Extensive experience in the design, delivery, and operation of IT systems.
  • Proven ability to solve complex technical issues at both strategic and hands-on levels.
  • Strong familiarity with all levels of the technology stack, including infrastructure, applications, and networks.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages and command-line tools such as PowerShell.
  • Knowledge of scaled agile environments and experience delivering services within the retail banking or financial services industry.
