Inspire People is working in partnership with the Bank of England, who is seeking a Senior Technology Risk Specialist within the Bank's Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) division to assess and provide technical assurance on major technology transformation and cloud outsourcing initiatives across the UK Financial sector. Salary of circa £70,580 - £89,460 per annum (depending on skills and experience) on a full-time basis. plus bonus and flexible cash benefits. Hybrid working in the City of London. This is a unique opportunity to gain visibility across the industry's most complex and critical technology programs, providing you with a unique visibility across the industry's biggest tech transformations, working on variety of technical risk assessment activities across diverse financial institutions and the opportunity to shape regulatory policy for technology risk, working within a collaborative team environment at a prestigious financial institution. Key Responsibilities: - Execute the PRA's supervisory approach for assessing technology and outsourcing risk at major UK banks - Provide independent assurance on large-scale cloud migrations, infrastructure modernization initiatives, and other complex technology programs - Clearly communicate technical risks and recommendations to senior stakeholders at the banks and internally at the PRA - Help craft supervisory policies related to technology risk and outsourcing. Essential Skills: - Significant experience independently assessing risks of large technology programs - Hands-on expertise evaluating cloud outsourcing arrangements and data security controls - Ability to distill complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences Desirable Skills: - Background in financial services risk management. There is the option to increase your pension (to 1/50th) or decrease (to 1/120th) in exchange for salary through our flexible benefits programme each year. A discretionary performance award based on a current award pool. A 7% benefits allowance with the option to take as salary or purchase a wide range of flexible benefits.
