Senior Test Engineer - EV - Norfolk - Permanent or Contract My client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Test Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test engineering, including the development and implementation of test strategies, plans, and procedures. This role requires a deep understanding of testing methodologies and a proven track record of successful project delivery. Role: Senior Test Engineer Location: Norfolk Sector: EV Permanent or Contract role Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and execution of test plans and test cases. Develop automated test scripts to improve efficiency and coverage. Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved. Analyse test results, identify issues, and work closely with development teams to resolve them. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, hardware, and quality assurance engineers. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior test engineers. Prepare and present detailed test reports and documentation. Stay current with advancements in testing methodologies and tools, incorporating new technologies into the testing process. Qualifications: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in test engineering. Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar. Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies. Experience with bug tracking and test management tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or TestRail. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
