Job Title: Senior Test Technician

Salary: �40,000 - �42,000 per annum

Contract Type: Permanent

Reporting to: Production Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Test Technician to join our team and contribute to the efficiency and profitability of our operations by ensuring high standards in assembly and testing processes in line with ISO9001:2008 standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise technicians in testing manifold assemblies, cartridge valves, and handling customer returns.


• Prepare parts for testing, ensuring assembly conforms to drawings and test procedures.


• Perform hydraulic testing using provided rigs, maintaining detailed documentation and data entry using Sage 200.


• Manage repair and testing of customer returns, ensuring parts meet functional specs.


• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization within the production area.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in assembly/manufacturing, particularly with hydraulic systems.


• Familiarity with hydraulic drawings, circuits, and testing procedures.


• Strong quality control skills, with an ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and test instructions.


• Excellent communication skills and teamwork capability.


• Full driving license required; forklift license and experience with heavy lifting equipment are desirable.
