My client is looking for an experienced Senior Town Planner to join their expanding team in London! This is a great opportunity for someone looking to join a renowned client-side consultancy, who were established over 200 years ago and have developed over 50,000 homes. This consultancy firm specialises in Town Planning and development services, largely in the residential renting sector. They provide professional advice and support to clients involved in property development, helping navigate the planning process. The firm has a strong focus on high-quality rental homes, community, and sustainable development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Negotiate and secure planning permissions
• Respond efficiently to planning queries from the business
• Collaborate the company teams to identify and develop opportunities
• Travel, using company car or car allowance, to various sites and clients as required

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• An RTPI accredited degree, such as a Masters in Town Planning
• Minimum 3 years' experience in Town Planning, either public or private sector
• Expert knowledge in planning policy and legislation across the UK, preferably residential for rent
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in order to liaise assertively with key professionals and present detailed reports
