A leading employee-owned planning consultancy is seeking a Senior or Associate Planner to join their growing team in Liverpool City Centre. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across the UK, collaborating with skilled professionals across multiple disciplines, including planning, urban design, transport, and sustainability.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

• Provide expert commercial planning advice to clients in both the public and private sectors
• Prepare and submit high-quality planning applications and appeals
• Manage and coordinate project teams, ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, local authorities, and key stakeholders
• Support senior staff on larger projects while also leading on individual assignments
• Contribute to business development through networking and client engagement

The Ideal Candidate

• Chartered Town Planner (MRTPI) with 5-8 years of professional experience
• Strong knowledge of the UK planning system and experience handling a variety of planning issues
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise workload effectively
• A proactive approach to business development, including networking and client meetings
