Senior Product Designer (UI) | Up to £70k | Climate-TechThe Company:Our client is an early stage start-up working in the sustainability sector - their work is a fundamental part of reaching Net Zero. Their focus on innovative solutions and efficiency, drives their mission to transform the industry. They are a small, dynamic team of six, and come together for in-person collaboration at least once a week in the London office. Currently, they've been working with an agency to support their efforts to be a design-led organisation. However, due to an increase in funding, they're now looking to bring design capabilities in-house. The Role:We are looking for a UI focused Product Designer - someone who knows how to take complex/technical data, and distil it into clean and clear visually appealing UI. This role will focus on transforming a slow, manual, and technically intricate process into one that is swift and user-friendly! You'll work closely with the founding team to design the various tools that make up the product. From focusing on understanding users' current processes, needs, and challenges, to using these insights to design elegant, straightforward solutions that delight them.They’re already underway in terms of style guides, branding, having components created etc, but there’s still lots of room for creativity here! Long term this person will have huge amounts of creative control! As a company they’re moving very quickly at the moment, and they need high quality outputs…so there's lots of locus on learning and iterating... things don’t need to be 100% perfect before they’re shipped right now, but the focus is building a long-term user-centred culture. About You: We are looking for a UI focused Product Designer - someone who has:Taken complex/technical data and distilled into clean and clear, visually appealing interfacesWorked in-house for a start-up/fast-paced iterative environmentHeld lots of responsibility (working as the sole designer for example)Confidence using FigmaA portfolio of case-studies demonstrating your workWFH Policy: 1 day per week in London officeSalary: Up to £70,000Interview Process:1.
