Senior Vice President

Mastek is looking to bolster its existing high performing team with a leader in its Public Sector Portfolio (SGS + Local Government & Higher Education) in the UK, with a particular focus on enabling our Major Programs Portfolio and undertaking Strategic Initiatives that have material positive impact to our customers, our people and our business.Job Description:This role essentially is to drive the (1) Designing and Value that Government clients can derive from Mastek (2) Designing, modelling and leading on execution of major programs, ways of working, culture and workforce operating and engineering methods, working with existing teams, and with the UK board. In this role, we expect the individual to:Work into the Head of UK Public Sector.Act as a trusted advisor to key Customer stakeholdersAct as a trusted advisor to key Mastek stakeholders on the executive leadership boardLead and/or actively support in development and evolution of digital solutions and services in a delivery contextIntegrate people, processes and technology on major programs and strategic initiatives as neededProviding clarity of direction in complex environments like Critical National Importance/Infrastructure servicesDeveloping and establishing high performing and empowered teams, to meet departmental policies and outcomesDemonstrate experience and acumen in managing complex programs;Demonstrate experience and acumen in managing strategic cross organization initiatives (e.g. building Centres of Excellence) that build workforce capabilities, ways of working and enhanced product development and service orchestration standardsApply your experience in playing a key role in development and maturity of highly sensitive and complex UK government servicesDemonstrate professional level competency in certain operational functions like product and project portfolio managementAs needed, the role may need to lead and/or support specific client/departmental engagements in capacity of campaigns, operational leadership and/or sub-sector leadership to develop and enhance customer outcomes and value from engaging with MastekDevelop new and/or enhance existing propositions/proposals to customers via campaigns and/or public sector bidsFlexible to travel within UK with occasional global travelWilling to undertake UK SC/NPPV3 Clearance and/or if needed DV clearance.Skills are expected to be recent and afresh, with demonstrable experience in last 5 years or so in:Experienced in Managing, Delivering and Leading policies of Critical National Importance, complex transactions and large programsOperational Experienced leader in UK Public Sector Systems Integration, Continuous Integration and Delivery, Digital Applications and Channels and Data ExploitationHave significant experience in policies of UK Home AffairsCreating high performing and successful teams. A colleague who is strong at establishing relationships, experience of working in a global, multi-cultural environmentExperienced in managing complex transactions with operational experience working with Government Senior Stakeholders SCS2 and abovePossess deep Technical, Operational and Commercial acumen of our industryExperienced in Government policies and approaches in Contract ManagementHands on experience creating large multi-disciplinary skilled workforce models, that are forward looking and transforming an organisation or a departmentAdvanced understanding of Public Sector ways of working and procurement approachesDemonstrable experience on managing large supplier/partners in delivering of complex and/or strategic initiativesExcellent influencing skills and credible track record in using these skills to drive successful resultsGreat attention to detail, experienced in building robust business casesExperienced in setting up secure ways of working, infrastructure to government standards
