Service Advisor

Are you a skilled and experienced Service Advisor in the Bridgwater area who is looking for a temporary role with the potential to become permanent?

My client is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join their team in Bridgwater. This temporary Service Advisor position could lead to a permanent role for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers in a professional and friendly manner
• Listen to customer concerns and diagnose service needs
• Explain service recommendations clearly and concisely
• Obtain customer authorisation for repairs
• Schedule service appointments
• Liaise with technicians on service progress
• Process customer payments
• Ensure a smooth and positive customer experience throughout the service process
• Maintain accurate service records

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Service Advisor in the automotive industry (or equivalent)
• Proven experience using a Dealer Management System (DMS) such as Drive, Kerridge, or similar
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
• A passion for the automotive industry (preferred)
• Must hold a full UK valid driving licence
