We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Advisor to join our dynamic automotive client in Smethwick.



The company has been going from strength to strength and has facilities in a number of countries and an impressive global customer base to match.



As a Service Advisor, you will be at the forefront of the business, acting as a vital link between their customers and various departments. Your dedication to delivering outstanding service will ensure your customers receive the highest level of satisfaction.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Collaborate seamlessly with different departments to ensure our customers receive top-notch service, including stock management, order processing, and resolving any issues promptly.

  • Efficiently handle sales orders for both counter and contract customers, providing a professional and friendly experience.

  • Embrace versatility by taking on various roles such as Parts, Service, and Sales, and handle customer inquiries effectively.

  • Provide regular reports and feedback to your line manager, addressing any areas of concern.

  • Offer product and pricing information, demonstrating technical expertise and product knowledge.

  • Coordinate product deliveries and collections, ensuring smooth logistics.

  • Manage warranty issues and claims for counter and contract customers.



The company will offer you a basic salary of �27K - �30K, 25 days holidays, 3 x salary life cover, Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm (hour for lunch).�After 12 months the company will increase pension contributions to 5%.



What the company would like from you:




  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Willingness to travel as needed.

  • Technical awareness and knowledge of automotive parts and services.

  • Hold or be willing to work towards an Institute of Sales and Marketing Management (ISMM) Level 3 Award, Certificate, and Diploma in Advanced Sales and Marketing, or possess two years of sales experience.

  • Possess a valid driving licence.
