Service Advisor
Salary: £29,000 - £31,000 (D.O.E)
Location: Poole, Dorset
Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 – 18:00 with 1 in 4 Saturdays
Drivers licence essential
About the role/our client:
Our client is a highly prestigious brand, offering a great working opportunity to work in the aftersales department, supporting the business through effective communication with all internal and external interactions.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage calls with the service department to book in and arrange collections of customer vehicles.
- Provide outstanding customer service with all customer interactions across various channels.
- Recognise and act upon opportunities to upsell to work towards the team KPI’s.
- Demonstrate expertise when handling handovers, answering any questions and complete all administrative tasks involved.
- Distribute jobs to internal Workshop Controller, passing on any relevant information gained for a smooth transfer.
- Manage customer expectations through strong communication and regular updates, where necessary.
- Follow up on any cancellations with the aim of re-booking.
- Data entry, recording and updates on vehicle records meticulously.
- Handle any complaints with care and empathy, aiming for resolution, escalating when needed.
Skills/Experience Required:
- Proven ability to provide excellent customer service skills.
- Strong communication, written and verbal.
- Ability to follow internal processes with compliance and regulation.
