Service Charge Accountant

Service Charge Accountant - Stanmore - £30,000 to £35,000
My client, block / estate management firm with a company portfolio of over 120 blocks, are seeking a motivated Service Charge Accountant to join their growing team.
Plenty of scope for ongoing professional development, training and qualifications!
Duties:

• Assisting with monthly Bank Reconciliations of individual service charge accounts
• Assisting with preparing Service Charge Year End Accounts for review and approval by external qualified Accountants
• Issuing Service Charge Year End Accounts once signed off by external qualified Accountants
• Assist with answering enquiries which are service charge accounts based as and when necessary
• Update financial and non-financial data and information in databases to ensure that details are accurate and up to date

Experience Required:

• Service Charge Accounts experience in the property industry
• Excellent organisation skills
• Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
• Excellent knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft packages
• Training will be provided on current accounts software - Blocksonline
• AAT qualified or part qualified
• A team player and ability to work on own initiative

Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm, one day per week from home after probation
