This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Service Director or a Childrens Consultant to leave a lasting impact in a fast-paced environment.

Some of the key duties are:

• Build on the achievements the council has already achieved and assist the wider team with their targets and ambitions.
• Lead the wider team to improve outcomes for all young residents in the council's area.
• Provide and promote good quality service to improve the well-being of the residents.
• Provide strategic guidance to the wider team.
• Assist with the wider reforms the council is proposing to implement.

An ideal candidate for this role will consist of the following skillset:

• Qualified Social Worker.
• Excellent Managerial skills.
• Experienced in creating strategies, and providing realistic long-term objectives.
• Experienced in consulting with stakeholders and good decision-making skills.
