Service Engineer

We are searching for a professional Senior Service Engineer who posses excellent analytical, and interpersonal skills. Someone who has the ability to communicate complex technical information in an easy to understand manner. You will be an excellent decision maker, who is solution focused with a creative, innovative and logical drive to meet business objectives. ResponsibilitiesComplete preventative maintenance, fault finding and repairs for a variety of analytical laboratory instrumentation.Manage and respond to all allocated work requests in a timely and professional manner.Complete and maintain equipment service documentationWork within the Analytical Service Engineering Team to provide the best level of service to the laboratories.Maintain a stock inventory of spare parts.RequirementsHND or higher in Chemistry, Engineering or a relevant Scientific Field.Experience with instruments from vendors such as Agilent, Thermo, Waters, Varian, Dionex and Skalar working on GC/FID/MS/MS-MS, GCxGC, LC/MS-MS and ICP/MS/OES, IC and BOD/COD.Experience of working as a Service Engineer, Test Engineer or in a Technical Support role.Experience of working in a Life Sciences or Pharmaceutical Laboratory field would be an advantage.Methodical with the ability to prioritise workload, manage multiple tasks and produce quality work in a timely manner.Ability to multi-task activities with shifting priorities and be able to adapt to changing circumstances.
