Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Installation Engineer required to join a leading pump distributor.
The successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Installation Engineer will provide mechanical and electrical repair, service, maintenance and commissioning on pump stations and associated products at customer sites across the M25 and home counties. Full product training provided.
The Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Installation Engineer will ideally have a Field Service background with mechanical and/or electrical engineering products such as pumps, circulators, booster sets, inverters, PLCs, wastewater pumps and systems, pump stations, fluid power products, pressurisation units or similar mechanical engineering products.

Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Installation Engineer Role
  • To provide mechanical and electrical repair, service, commissioning, and maintenance of pump stations at customer sites within the commercial building sector across the M25 and surrounding areas.
  • The Service Engineer will undertake planned and preventative maintenance, provide advice, diagnostics and fault finding on pump stations, monitoring alarm systems and associated products.
    Maintain, repair and install various pumps, pump stations, fluid power products, booster sets, pressure units or similar mechanical engineering products on commercial sites.
  • Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs on various pump systems.
  • Home-based, commutable to the M25 and home counties.
Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Installation Engineer Requirements
  • Proven diagnostic skills on mechanical/electrical engineering products.
    Experience as a Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer, Service Technician, Installation Engineer, Pumps Engineer, Mechanical Engineer or similar.
  • Field Service background pumps, pump stations, booster sets, pressurisation units, circulators, inverters, PLCs, waste water pumps and systems, fluid power products or similar mechanical engineering products on commercial sites.
    The ability to maintain good professional working relationships with existing and new customers.
    A technical mechanical/electrical engineering qualification, apprentice trained, HNC, HND, degree or would be advantageous.
    Electrical engineering qualifications (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or similar, BS7671 18th Edition and ECS gold card) are advantageous.
  • Flexible for overtime and being on call (This is done on a rota system)
  • Full UK driving license, willingness to travel the M25 and home counties.
  • Willingness to commute to office in South London several times a week during the initial training period
