We are working with an established machine servicing company based in Winsford.�They are recruiting for a�Support and Service Engineer�to join their team on a days role in return for a salary in the region of��48,000.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Carry out surveys for non-contracted clients prior to on boarding


• Carry out routine checks on supported equipment and software


• Be confident with manufacturers such as but not limited to Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, and Omron


• Be part of the on-call rota (24/7 currently 1 week in 4) to resolve breakdowns on client sites


• Provide a resolution to the client in all instances


• Ensure minimal downtime


• Implementation and maintenance of remote connection packages


• Familiarity with various communication protocols


• Sourcing of current and obsolete parts


• Maintaining support documentation for clients


• Continuous improvement


• Adhere to all applicable Site rules as stipulated by the customer owner of any site you may be working on


• Ensure that supplied PPE is worn correctly and maintained in good order


• Comply with RAMS requirements


• Ask for tasks to be re-assessed where you believe that the method explained is unsafe or unreasonable


• Support environmental initiatives


• Report unsafe acts or conditions that you witness and raise Near Misses

Qualifications & Experience required:

• HNC/HND or equivalent


• Experience with Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Omron software platforms


• Experience with safety circuits of varying complexity


• Good working knowledge of control circuits and high-level fault finding


• Full clean UK driving license

This position is commutable from; Moulton, Whitegate, Middlewich, Little Budworth
