The company are an established business in the Material Handling industry. Due to further expansion, they now have a newly created opportunity for a Service Engineer to join the team in Yorkshire. You will be working with a friendly team and working on some interesting equipment. In return they offer a very attractive salary package with company benefits which include, basic up to �36k, overtime paid at Time and Half, Door to Door payments, fully expensed company van and more. OTE �40k+

The Service Engineer will be able to swiftly and expertly diagnose and conduct the repair or service in a knowledgeable, friendly, courteous, and enthusiastic manner, to the highest standard. They currently have a large customer base which includes a high amount of electrical equipment, so any previous electrical knowledge would be advantageous, but not essential

Responsibilities of the Service Engineer

Servicing and repair of trucks as directed by the Service Manager.

Diagnosing the exact nature of each query and repair with a friendly, efficient, 'can-do' attitude.
Completing a report for each job on a PDA system.

Requirements of the role:

NVQ Level 2 in Plant, Maintenance or Vehicle - Preferably Apprentice trained

Experienced Service Engineer in the MHE Industry preferred, but Vehicle Technicians, HGV Technicians, Roadside Recovery, Agricultural and Plant are all considered.

Electrical Bias will give candidates a distinct advantage.
Full UK Driving License
Good at managing own workload and able to cope with pressure.
Present a professional image - be trustworthy, punctual and polite.
Good team player.

In return the Service Engineer will be offered the following package.

  • Basic Salary �34k to �36k
  • Contracted 40-hour week, all overtime paid at time and half OTE �40k +
