The Successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer will provide mechanical repair, service, and maintenance plus electrical fault finding on high speed rotating equipment, predominantly centrifugal�compressors at customer sites UK wide.
The Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer will ideally have a field service background in the compressed air industry or strong electromechanical experience on rotating equipment such as Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines, Compressors, Gearboxes, Diesel Engines. Centrifuges,� Reciprocating Engines, Controls and Instrumentation, Generators, Pumps or similar. Full product training provided.

Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer Role- To provide electrical and mechanical repair, service, and maintenance of centrifugal compressed air equipment at customer sites.
- The Compressor Service Engineer will undertake planned and preventative maintenance, provide advice, diagnostics and technical support.
- Provide mechanical repair, service, and maintenance plus electrical fault finding and programming on centrifugal compressors at customer sites UK wide.
- Installing compressed air products into all forms of the manufacturing industry.
- Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs on�centrifugal compressed air equipment.
- Liaise with various engineering departments.
Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer Requirements- Proven diagnostic skills on complicated electrical / mechanical engineering systems.
- Experience as a Field Service Engineer / Service Engineer / Service Technician / Installation Engineer / Compressor Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / M&E Engineer / Electrical Engineer or similar.
- The ability in maintaining good professional working relationships with existing and new customers.
- Good working knowledge of three phase electrics and controls is advantageous.
- Field service background in the compressed air industry or strong electromechanical experience in rotating equipment such as in Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines, Compressors, Gearboxes, Diesel Engines, Reciprocating Engines, Centrifuges,� Controls and instrumentation, Generators, Pumps or similar. Full product training provided.
- A technical mechanical engineering degree would be advantageous.
- Fully remote role, willingness to travel UK wide and stay away 75% of the time.
