An exciting vacancy has arisen for a highly motivated and experienced Service Manager to join a leading provider of high-quality industrial solutions, renowned for their commitment to innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the service department, ensuring exceptional service delivery, managing a team of service technicians, and maintaining strong relationships with their customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the service department to ensure high-quality service delivery
- Coordinate and schedule service activities, ensuring timely and efficient completion
- Supervise and support a team of service technicians
- Maintain and enhance customer relationships
- Monitor service performance metrics and implement improvements to achieve departmental goals
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations professionally and effectively
- Develop and maintain service procedures, policies, and standards
- Play an active role in recruitment of new team members as well as providing training and development opportunities to existing colleagues
To be considered for this Service Manager position:
- Proven experience in a service management role, preferably within an industrial, engineering or technical field
- Experience within Gas systems, heating, cooling or HVAC would be ideal
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Technical knowledge of industrial systems and related equipment is highly desirable
- Proficiency in using service management software and tools
- A proactive and customer-focused approach
