As Service Manager you will be joining a highly successful market leading global manufacturing business based in Banbury. The role is full time and permanent offering a salary of up to £50,000. The company are on a real path of growth, and this is an opportunity to be part of this.

Purpose of the role: To support and manage the engineers working across projects in the UK and Ireland delivering exceptional levels of customer service. With frequent client visits in the UK and Ireland the role is 3 - 4 days office based with 1 day out in the field.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities of the Service Manager:
\n
\n- Directing and delegating service tasks
\n- Monitoring current projects to ensure project delivery
\n- Managing service team, training and coaching
\n- Monitoring customer complaints, create methods to improve service delivery
\n- Managing the service desk, improving efficiencies
\n- Overseeing aftersales service
\n- Working with sales and project managers to deliver to customers
\n- Auditing work carried out to ensure the highest standards service delivery, efficiency and productivity goals are met

Key Skills Required for the Service Manager:
\n
\n- Experience as a service manager within manufacturing, FMCG, machinery, engineering or large heavy goods installations
\n- Experience managing service engineers
\n- Strong leadership skills
\n- Ability to support and nurture a positive culture
\n- Managed and delivered high levels of customer service
\n- An effective problem solver, aways putting service first
\n- Ability to perform under pressure and remain consistent
\n- Organised and detail orientated
\n
