Role Title: Service Now - Platform Dev/AdminLocation: Hybrid - occasional travel to Corsham or LondonDuration: Until 31/03/25Must hold Active SC clearanceRole Description:The Platform Developer will:Develop ServiceNow custom applicationsDevelop CPA service software to meet user needs and ACOE service requirementsFollow ACOE good practice guidelines and help to improve those guidelinesWrite clean, secure and well-tested softwareCoach and mentor more junior colleaguesOperate the services build and identify issues in productionSupport the resolution of operational issuesMaintain the ServiceNow Self-Hosted Platform which includes monitoring and capacity managementEnsure snaphosts, backup and clonebacks are completed as appropriateSchedule and communicate upgrades of the platform as requiredDesign and schedule application uptime to meet cost optimisation goalsSkills and knowledgeThe Platform Developer should have experience of:Developing ServiceNow custom applications .Good Linux OS experience which includes Shell Scripting, standard Linux string manipulation and reporting toolsServiceNow application development
