Sewing Machinist

Position: Sewing Machinist

Location: Brockworth, Gloucestershire

Hours of work: 9:00 am to 05:00 pm Monday to Friday. We would also consider part time candidates.

Type of work: temp to perm.

Hourly rate: 12.00 to £13.00 per hour

We are now looking to recruit a Sewing Machinist for a clothes manufacturing company based in Gloucester. The appropriate Sewing Machinist would have very good attention to detail and good dexterity skills. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a warm family friendly business with well establish clients,

Responsibilities:

• Working with light fabrics, pattern cutting.
• Sewing children clothes
• Working with various light fabrics
• Preparing fabric for the sewing team
• Measuring
• Quality checking work
• Working effectively to reduce waste and optimise fabric usage.

Requirements:

• Proficient in cutting materials using various tools and equipment.
• Knowledge of sewing techniques and terminology
• Attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
