Sheet Metal Worker
Our client based in West London (Ealing area); they are seeking to hire a highly skilled sheet metal workers for their expanding operation.
Manufacturing sheet metal components to house sensitive equipment, the ideal candidates will be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and translate in to the final article. Work leaving the organisation is cosmetically high quality as well as delivered to tight deadlines.

Ability to use welding equipment is an advantage but not essential.
Personal Skills
Essential
Fine limit sheet metalwork skills including use of the following machines:
�Guillotine; Fly Press; Hydraulic Press; Press Brake; CNC Press Brake; Spot Welder; Bench Drill; CNC Turret Press; Band Saw; Cut Off Saw; Power Hacksaw.
�Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
�Able to work to fine limits
�To be able to check and inspect ongoing quality and maintain ISO 9001 records.
�To be able to understand verbal and written instructions and to be able to fully integrate within the existing team. (Be a team player).
�Be physically able to work in a small factory environment and to be able to lift and move materials, tooling, etc., of reasonable weights. To be able to climb stairs to mezzanine floor without difficulty.
Desirable
Ability to program and set CNC Turret Press
Ability to use welding equipment.
Ability to use Mills, Lathes and Centre Grinders
IT literate
Knowledge of First Aid
Clean Driving Licence
Benefits
Salary:Competitive
Pension:Voluntary pension scheme, Minimum employee contribution 5% of basic salary, Employer contribution 3.5% of basic salary and non-contributory Death in Service life insurance of 2 X basic salary.
Hours of Work:Monday to Friday inclusive 7.30am to 4.00pm
� hour lunch break between 1.00pm and 1.30pm
Overtime:At the discretion of management (dependant on workload) and paid at time and one half after completion of the basic 40-hour week.
Holidays:Twenty-two days per annum (up to 5 days to be saved for Christmas shutdown)
