Sheet Metal Worker

Job Description: As a Sheet Metal Laser Cutting, Water Jet Cutting, & Fabrication Specialist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining advanced cutting and fabrication equipment to produce high-precision metal components. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to meeting production deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain laser cutting machines, water jet cutting machines, and other fabrication equipment.


• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files to produce accurate metal parts.


• Perform quality control checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications.


• Set up and calibrate machinery for various jobs and materials.


• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to achieve desired outcomes.


• Troubleshoot and resolve machine-related issues to minimize downtime.


• Ensure all health and safety standards are followed in the workshop.


• Assist with other fabrication tasks as needed, such as bending, welding, and assembly.


• Maintain an organized and clean work environment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in sheet metal laser cutting, water jet cutting, and general fabrication.


• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.


• Proficiency with CNC and CAD/CAM software is a plus.


• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.


• Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues.


• Knowledge of materials such as steel, aluminum, and other metals.


• Understanding of safety procedures and commitment to maintaining a safe workspace.
