Overview

As a sheet metal worker, you will be responsible for fabricating high quality sheet metal components using a variety of hand tools and machinery.

This position offers guaranteed progression and the training & support an experienced sheet metal worker will need to step into a supervisory role.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities as a sheet metal worker will include:

• Setting up and operating CNC fabrication machinery such as press brakes and guillotines
• Using hand and power tools to finish components
• Assembly of sheet metal products
• Basic inspection of completed work
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specifications
• Assisting the team with meeting production targets, providing guidance & training to support the teams development.

Background

The successful sheet metal worker will have:

• Previous experience working with producing sheet metal products
• The ability to operate metal work machinery such as press breaks and guillotines.
• Strong understanding of technical drawings and diagrams
• Enthusiastic attitude and the desire to progress into a supervisory position.
