SHEQ Controller - Part time

Careerlink are currently recruiting for a SHEQ Controller for a plumbing solutions manufacturer in Buxton.

As a SHEQ Controller, you will contribute to the management and continual improvement of the company Quality Management System.

Job type: Part-time - 3 days a week (Permanent role)

Salary: 25k per annum

Location: Fairfield, Buxton

Role Responsibilities:

• To conduct internal and external quality audits in accordance with company procedures.
• To provide product specific quality and inspection services.
• To investigate and resolve corrective/preventative actions relating to quality issues.
• Provide EHS advice and guidance.
• Ensure company EHS policies and procedures meet legislative requirements.
• Notify all adverse events in compliance with company policy and procedures.
• Undertake incident investigation and reporting.
• Undertake Risk Assessments as required and maintain the Company's RA register.
• Prepare safety reports identifying key issues, initiatives and safety performance.
• Provide EHS advice, coaching, training, information and guidance to all levels of the Company.
• Remain knowledgeable of current legislation, initiatives and best practice within the field of manufacturing health &
• safety management.

Role Requirements:

• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent in Health and Safety. (REQUIRED)
• Knowledge of UK health, safety and environmental legislation.
• Detailed knowledge and experience of manufacturing EHS requirements including legal compliance.
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office) with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
