SHEQ Project Services Manager

Astute's Nuclear team is partnering with a business experienced across decommissioning, waste management, and more recently engineering design, R&D, and refurbishment, site installation, and high-hazard decommissioning work packages to recruit a SHEQ Project Services Manager for its Aldermaston site.

The function leading SHEQ Project Services Manager comes with a salary up to �60,000, an annual bonus, and a wide range of benefits.

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the SHEQ Director you will:

• Lead and develop a team to provide expert knowledge across all projects in the UK.
• Manage and support technical development strategies/documentation for various construction, decommissioning, and waste management projects.
• Input on project compliance within contracts.
• Mentor and coach colleagues on compliance needs.
• Ensure inspections and internal audits are planned, actioned, and reported to senior leadership teams.

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

• Project Management qualification such as Prince 2 or APMP
• NEBOSH Construction or General Certificate
• SMSTS or CSCS card.

Personal skills

The SHEQ Project Services Manager role would suit someone who is:

• A detail orientated manager
• Experience working within the construction sector in a highly regulated market (nuclear, defence, pharmaceutical, chemical manufacturing, or energy sectors)
• knowledgeable on CDM regulations

• A salary between �50,000 and �60,000 depending on experience.
