Shift Maintenance Engineer (Data Centres) – Critical Facilities Maintenance – East LondonDid you know the UK Data Centre Industry is forecasted to grow by £1Bn in the next 24 months.Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer looking for a fresh challenge, then read on as this is your chance to join one of Britain's fast growing industries that will future proof your career in this new age of technology and power demand.My client is a leading facilities management service provider, who are currently working in partnership an world renowned Data Centre operator based in East London, they are actively recruiting for a Data Centre Shift Engineer from either a Mechanical or Electrical engineering background work in a 4-man shift team managing the day-to-day M&E services located at a large Data Centre complex in East LondonJob Specification:Ensuring that routine PPMs are carried out to all mechanical and electrical plant in accordance with site task schedules and asset listsThe role will require you to manage remedial works and ensure that all planned and reactives tasks are complete across plant room equipment such as UPS systems, diesel generators, heating and cooling systems, LV Power, HV Power (once certified), Air Handling Units, BMS alarms to name a few. This alongside, escorting any subcontractors around the building when required, compile extra works quotes, daily team ups with the Data Centre Manager.Responsible for Health & Safety, logbooks, risk assessment, permits to work etc.Salary & Package:£50,000.00 Per Annum + Overtime AvailableShift Pattern: Continental Days and Nights / 7 till 7 / 12 Hours20 Days Annual LeaveFull Uniform + Full set of ToolsTraining (HVAP/LVAP, ILM, CNet etc.)Fantastic Opportunity to get into the Data Centre IndustryThe Person:City Guilds/NVQ OR BTEC in Electrical OR Mechanical EngineeringDemonstrate strong communication and people skillsAble to write reports and carry out quotesCareer driven, looking for the next step in the career ladderSmart and presentableEx-Forces considered
