Job Title: Shift Maintenance Engineer
Location: Thetford
Salary: £43-£48k pa
We are excited to offer a career opportunity with a top FMCG company for a Shift Maintenance Engineer.
Role Overview:
As a maintenance engineer, you will play a crucial role in minimising operational downtime and maximising operational efficiency's through ensuring the reliability and effectiveness of the plant and machinery.
Role Responsibilities:
To carry out small projects, and modifications as required within any projects
To be able to quickly assess the nature of a breakdown and act accordingly
To carry out PPM inspections and maintenance, and to carry out corrective maintenance repairs on a timely basis.
To carry out general maintenance as required which can include lubrication tasks / schedules.
Required Skills:
City and Guilds, Electrical / Mechanical
A thorough understanding of both skills (Mechanical and Electrical)
17th Edition I.E.E. regulations
Competency in PLC's
Desired Skills:
NVQ level 3
ONC / HNC or equivalent level of education (desirable)
Hold advanced electrical wiring and maintenance skills
Salary & Benefits:
£42,000- £48,000
Shift Pattern:
4 on 4 off shift pattern
6am-6pm/ 6pm-6am

On-site
