A leading UK FMCG company in Leicester is seeking an adaptable, multi-skilled engineer for an exciting opportunity. This role is ideal for candidates with a background in food or FMCG industries.

Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a team to perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on new and existing equipment.
• Conduct preventative and planned maintenance.
• Work on high-speed FMCG machinery, handling fault finding on various equipment.
• Read electrical drawings and perform fault finding on PLCs (advantageous).
• Support process improvements, TPM, and 5S workplace practices for both engineering and manufacturing.

Maintenance Engineer Skills & Experience

• Relevant qualifications (Degree, NVQ, or apprenticeship background).
• Prior experience as a maintenance engineer.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
