About the Role
As Shift Manager, you'll oversee a team of 4 Front-Line Managers (with around 170 operatives) to ensure daily production runs smoothly, meeting quality and safety targets. You'll manage shift operations, resolve issues, and uphold food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the team of Front-Line Managers and operatives to meet production targets
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and food safety protocols
• Monitor and report on production output, resolving operational issues as they arise
• Conduct regular team meetings and ensure smooth communication across departments
• Provide training, mentoring, and career development opportunities for team members
• Manage shift operations and oversee daily performance, ensuring efficient workflows

About You
We're seeking a proactive Shift Manager with strong leadership and communication skills. Experience in managing large teams in fast-paced environments is essential, ideally within food manufacturing. A positive attitude, solid numeracy skills, and proficiency in Excel are key for success in this role.

Key Skills and Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role (Shift Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager, Front-Line Manager)
• Strong character with a positive attitude and the ability to manage a large team
• Excellent communication skills, comfortable leading a multicultural workforce
• Solid numeracy skills for reporting on performance metrics
• Proficient in Excel and familiar with KPI reporting (desirable)
