Shift Mechanical Engineer

My client is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join an expanding contract in Wembley.

About the role of Mechanical Engineer

This role is an excellent opportunity to work on key building in London. You will be responsible for Reactive Maintenance and Remedial Works on Mechanical and HVAC Services.

4 on 4 off (combination of 4 days, then 4 days off, then 4 nights, etc)

Days are 7am-7pm/Nights are 7pm-7am

Responsibilities for the Mechanical Engineer

• Responsible for overseeing maintenance and reactive tasks
• Repair HVAC Plant and Associated Systems to a high standard
• Undertake installation, alteration and repairs to pipework systems as needed.
• Undertake repairs to pumps within the workshop, including replacement of Mechanical Seals and other common causes of pump failure.
• BMS and Control Systems associated with Mechanical Plant and Equipment to assist fault diagnosis and correct set up.

Requirements for Mechanical Engineer

• NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 - Plumbing, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning 6187
• 3-5 years experience in a similar field
• Use of Trend BMS
