Role Overview:�As a Shift Planner Coordinator, you will play a vital role in coordinating the temporary staff required for our clients in the healthcare and social care sector. You will be responsible for managing shift allocations, ensuring effective communication between clients and staff, and handling any issues that may arise during out-of-hours shifts. The role involves working with our CRM system to track shift schedules and staffing requirements, as well as being part of an on-call rota for handling emergencies and urgent staffing requests outside of regular office hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shift Management:�Plan, allocate, and update shift schedules for healthcare staff based on client needs, ensuring coverage is always maintained for each shift.
- On-Call Rota:�Participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota to provide support to both clients and workers during evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Address any issues, cancellations, or urgent staffing needs as they arise.
- Issue Resolution:�Proactively address and resolve any issues that occur on shifts, such as absenteeism, lateness, or other concerns, ensuring minimal disruption to service.
- CRM Management:�Regularly update and maintain accurate records in the CRM system, including shift allocations, worker availability, and client requirements.
- Client Communication:�Maintain ongoing communication with clients to ensure their staffing needs are met, provide updates on staffing availability, and manage any changes or issues effectively.
- Worker Communication:�Regularly communicate with temporary staff to confirm shift details, provide updates, and resolve any concerns. Act as a liaison between the client and worker.
- Compliance:�Ensure all shifts comply with industry regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies. Address any concerns around worker compliance or performance.
- Reporting:�Provide regular reports on shift coverage, attendance, and any other metrics required for team or management review.
- Continuous Improvement:�Contribute ideas to improve the shift planning process, staff management, and client satisfaction.
