Shipping Administrator

A client of ours in the Clacton-on-Sea area are recruiting an Internal Sales & Shipping Administrator to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm or 8.00am - 4.00pm and paying �25,000 - �27,000 per annum depending on experience.

Reporting to the Internal Sales Team leader, key duties include but are not limited to:

• Day-to-day processing of sales orders onto the internal systems.
• Investigating discrepancies on received orders.
• Ensuring acknowledgements are issued in accordance with KPIs.
• Liaise with sales offices, customers and internal departments regarding order updates including customer requests for improved delivery and updates on delays/changes to dispatch dates.
• Arranging dispatch of orders.
• Arrange shipments of sales orders using international couriers (DHL/FedEx) and freight forwarders, ensuring all documentation complies with shipping guidelines and customer instructions.
• Ensure export documentation is accurately prepared to meet both HMRC and AEO requirements.
• Ensuring proof of export and Customs documentation is received, checked and stored within required timescales.

Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Internal Sales & Shipping Administrator position:

• High attention to detail
• Excellent IT skills with experience in using the Microsoft packages.
• Strong Administration skills.
• Ability to use own initiative.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience within the Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain industry desirable but not essential.
