Job Title: Fine Art Shipping Coordinator
Location: Ware
Salary: £33,000
Overview: The Fine Art Shipping Coordinator manages the logistics of transporting valuable artworks. This role ensures efficient scheduling, packing, and delivery while partnering with clients, suppliers, and colleagues to facilitate smooth operations and contribute to our client's success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate domestic and international shipping of high-value, delicate artworks, acting as the main liaison between client and shippers.
- Provide premium service to clients, understanding their specific shipment needs and maintaining strong relationships.
- Ensure smooth project flow during peak periods, including resource planning and communication with departments and clients.
- Create accurate estimates, manage project costs, and prepare client invoices.
- Handle all necessary documentation, including AWB, B/L, CMRs, export licenses, and customs instructions.
- Maintain successful partnerships with external suppliers and ensure compliance with safety and security standards.
- Track shipments in real-time, provide detailed reports, and quickly resolve any issues such as delays or damage.
Requirements:
- Experience in shipping, including import/export procedures for air, sea, and road freight.
- Exceptionally organized, methodical, and detail-oriented.
- Strong written, verbal communication, and numeracy skills.
- Team player with the ability to work independently.
- Problem solver with an ability to improve processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage a high volume of information and extract relevant details accurately.
- Customer-centric approach with a focus on client satisfaction.
