This Shipping Coordinator position in the FMCG industry seeks an individual who is highly organised with exceptional problem-solving skills. The role, based in Peterborough, 2-3 days work from the office, involves coordinating and managing the exportation of goods, ensuring optimal customer satisfaction.
Description
The Shipping Coordinator will be responsible for the following
Manage and coordinate all aspects of export processes
Ensure all export activities comply with regulatory standards
Handle and resolve any issues that arise with shipments and deliveries
Develop and maintain relationships with logistics partners
Maintain documentation and records related to export activities
Work closely with sales and customer service teams to ensure client satisfaction
Monitor and report on export performance metrics
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics departmentProfile
A successful Shipping Coordinator should have:
at least 1 year experience in either Import/ Export / Shipping Admin or Coordinator role
Knowledge of import or export regulations and procedures
Exceptional organisational and problem-solving skills
Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal
Adeptness in working with logistics software
