This role requires a deep understanding of consumer behaviour, market trends, and retail environments. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in shopper marketing, excellent project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Responsibilities include:Develop and implement shopper activation strategies to enhance brand presence and drive sales.Analyse shopper insights, market data, and trends to inform strategic planning and decision-making.Identify key shopper touchpoints and create engaging activation programs that resonate with target audiences.Lead the development and execution of shopper marketing campaigns, including in-store promotions and activations.Collaborate with internal teams such as Marketing, Category, Sales and Innovation, as well as external partners to ensure seamless execution of campaigns.Manage the creation of promotional materials, point-of-sale displays, and other shopper marketing assets.Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners to secure prime placement and support for shopper activation initiatives.Negotiate and manage retail marketing agreements and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.Work closely with retailers to understand their needs and tailor activation programmes accordingly.Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of shopper activation programmes.Generate regular reports and presentations to communicate campaign results, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders.Continuously optimise activation strategies based on performance data and feedback.Develop and manage the shopper marketing budget.Track expenditures and ensure campaigns are delivered within budget constraints.What are we looking for?Experience of working in a similar Shopper Activation role within the FMCG industry.Strong understanding of shopper behaviour, retail environments and market trends.Proven ability to develop and execute successful shopper marketing campaigns.Strong analytical skills and ability to derive actionable insights from data.Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.Sound IT skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other online tools.
